Essay on Summer Season For Students

Introduction

The Summer is one of the four seasons of a year. It is called as the hottest phase of an year. The Summer season begins late in March and ends in July. In summer the days become long and nights become short.

Summer Season Essay

It is very hot outside during summer. The rays of sun become dangerous and harmful that’s why all schools and colleges remain closed during summer season. The scorching rays of the sun can damage eyes and can cause several skin diseases.

Nearly for two months schools are closed so that children get protected from harmful rays of sun. Children go on holidays with their families to visit tourists sites around the country. Sometimes they go out of country to enjoy cool weather.

During summer season the sky remain clear.  Almost all rivers, ponds and small water bodies become dry. When the constant heat rays fall on water bodies most of the water evaporate and makes them dry.

All living forms on earth including humans suffer extremely during summer. Animals don’t find water to drink. The scarcity of fresh water among people also increases during the summer. The trees become leafless and cheerless. Even lands become dry and cracked.

The weather become very plaintive.  It becomes very difficult to go out in sun and work. The weak, old and children suffer from sun-stroke.

Specially the birds and small animals die thirsty. People keep bird baths and water pitchers at roofs of homes, in the gardens and in streets to help the thirsty birds.

In summer, the temperature become intolerable to people. Many families rush to cooler places during summer to spend hot days. All cooler regions and beaches are seen full in summer season.

The Summer season, on the other hand,  is a blessing in disguise. In summer we get many fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. There is plenty of mangoes, pineapple, bananas and watermelons in the market.

This season is mostly observed in the northern and southern parts of earth. In Northern countries this season ranges from April to September. While in Southern parts of the earth it ranges from December to March.

The temperature of the earth during summer season reaches to its peak point. It leave an impact on the normal routine of the people. People eat cucumbers, papayas and watermelons to fight high temperatures. People wear lighter and cooler clothes in summer to avoid sweating.

Due to high temperatures sweating increase and makes clothes dirty and body smell in summer. People take frequent showers and take long baths in fresh water.

Sometimes people go to bathe in water bodies like rivers and canals. The villagers prefer sitting under the shade of trees and plants. The trees protect the scorching rays of sun and make air cool.

Conclusion

The summer is the most enjoyable season for children. All schools remain closed for two months and children plan picnic to hilly and cooler places. In summer we are gifted with many fruits which are very tasty and healthy. In summer season people should protect their children from harmful rays of sun.
